With Americans avoiding the long lines in airports in favor for extra hours on the road, it seems as though getting from place to place via car is becoming a much more popular alternative than ever before. However, being in a car means a lot more time spent in transit. While this can be fine for those who are old enough to kick back and enjoy the options of the radio, younger travelers might sometimes find that it’s a bit boring to watch the same DVDs over and over again from the back seat.

While parents definitely do not feel like hearing endless chants of “are we there yet?,” sometimes it seems like nothing can be done to make them stop. After all, you can only pack so many different coloring books, video games, and DVDs to keep younger passengers content. And having to come up with constant entertainment, even if it’s for sullen teenagers or preteens, can definitely add to the stress of travel. It’s enough to wish that cars had wireless internet.

Well, for those who are using WiMax, they actually do. And not just for irritable children, but for anyone who needs the internet while on the road, this is a hugely helpful development. Just like with cell phones, this new advancement in wireless technology actually works off of a network that bounces from tower to tower. This means that instead of a router that can serve a couple of feet, people are dealing with towers that can provide a strong and steady signal for miles and miles.

Once children are done watching their favorite DVDs or listening to their iPods, those travelers with laptops can simply pass that back. Streaming video comes through without any problems, it is possible to chat away on Facebook, and it takes a lot of pressure off of parents when it comes to finding something for their children to do. Best of all, because it’s the internet and not just another entertainment outlet, those who need to be working on schoolwork can focus on that instead of just puttering about online.

Adults on the road also can benefit from WiMax. For those who are freelancing, the ability to get online without having to seek out a Wi-Fi enabled location or a library is a huge time saver. Those who are still conducting business from the road can check in without having to scan through emails on any sort of cell phone, and can also relax, knowing that if something is important, they will be able to catch up on it almost as fast as someone at the office can.

While not all areas of the country have WiMax yet, a number of major cities, including Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Portland, and Las Vegas, are completely wired. This means that early adopters who are interested in getting in on the ground floor have never had a better opportunity to try out a new technology. And if it ends up working so well on the road, then it makes perfect sense to use it on shorter journeys, like the ones from the living room to the home office. Or on the train into the city and at the office during lunchtime. After all, finally there is a version of the internet that actually can go wherever you need to.

Help answer the question about living room improvement

poetry..room for improvement?
I like writing, but I am not sure if I can. Help?

Just like a sparrow,
it flew to my open arms.
I caught it in my hands.
For a while, it was calm.
The songs u sang, the warmth u shared, the love u showered.
The more i look on, the more i feel,
the more i'm Mesmerized.

As time passed,
I think my grip grew harder.
Fearing it would take off if i didn't.
Fearing it would slip by me.
I refuse to let go.
Even a little.

My care for it multiplied.
Till i sometimes thought, i can't live without.
I love, I love.
There is no doubt.
Till i couldn't see.
The hurt i gave, the pressure i applied so unconsciously,
the pain i caused.
If only i had known,
also, the fault is my own.

Struggling, tired, but determined.
It turned, one look, One hard fierce peck.
I felt it stung.
Pain as hell.
Not my hands, not my fingers, not my palm.
i realize..my heart. Like a stab.

Then, i watched it flew.

Away.
Flew by me.
Helpless, aware of my own capabilities.
I am unable to fly.
I tried to catch it back. To retrieve.
But it is so far now.

I look at my hands, and closed it tight.
A fist.
Inside, held the loose feathers..like little pieces of memories.
Inside, carrying together, was the wound.

I just build a 5 feet wide by 7 feet tall bookcase. It is oak, materials were about $120, my time was about 20 hours without finishing, add another 10 hours for finishing. My guess is you are looking at $1,200 for the two, could be much more though depending on wood species and complexity.

Your rabbit is just marking her territory. Rabbits do this with pee, as well as poop (which not many people know). The only way to stop the territorial pooping is by getting her spayed. Female rabbits go through their sexual maturity stage around 5-6 months old, so i have a feeling this is what yours is going through right at this very moment! During this time, the female gets very territorial, which is why she is pooping everywhere, this is her way of saying "this is mine, and this is mine…" If she were just pooping normally, your right, it would just be a couple, but with these territorial poops, it is about 14 poops per 3 seconds. My male rabbit does this…which is why he is going to be neutered soon. So, short answer, the only way she will stop is if she is spayed. Also, this will make her even more friendly and loveable! Most vets will spay and neuter rabbits around 6 months old. call and ask your vet :) good luck! (oh and do not listen to any one else who gave you answeres. you should actually report them for not being helpful to you at all)

Try running a search for "room divider screen".

Don't get me started on this topic. Things we have left to do are:

    * Pack up everything and move house 800 miles. Yeah, fun.
    * Paint baby's room, pull up carpet, lay new flooring.
    * Buy everything. I've so far got 3 clothing items for the baby and that's it.

And I have just over 5 weeks left…. aarrrggghhhhh!
